RICHMOND -- Homer
Robinson, age 65, of Richmond, died Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at Methodist
Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born June 7, 1938, in Lamero, Ky., to Ellie and
Nevareen Spivey Robinson and had lived in the Richmond area all of his life. He
was a former employee of NATCO and a truck driver. He was a member of the
Fountain City Lions Club and attended the Fountain City Wesleyan Church.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Smith Robinson, whom he married Oct.
21, 1972; a son, Jeff (wife Dawn) Robinson of Williamsburg; three brothers, Jim
(wife Dixie) Robinson of Richmond, Terry (wife Karen) Robinson of Lakeland,
Fla., Tim (Rick) Robinson of Bartow, Fla.; three sisters, Glenda Tucker of
Fountain City, Sandy (husband Ed) Mullins of Amelia, Ohio, Sheri (husband Shawn)
McEwen of San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; three grandchildren, Michael (Emily)
Robinson, Christopher Robinson, Stephanie Robinson; nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his parents and a son, Christopher Robinson. Funeral
service will be held Saturday, March 27, at 11 a.m. in the Fountain City
Wesleyan Church with Rev. Joel Heron officiating. Friends may call from
4-7 p.m. Friday at the Fountain City Wesleyan Church. Arrangements are being
handled by Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home in Fountain City. The family has asked
that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Fountain City Wesleyan Church
Building Fund, 5600 U.S. 27 N., Richmond, IN 47374.
