Mrs. Phyllis Mary Perry Smith, 58, of Crab Orchard, died Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
Mrs. Smith was born January 29, 1946 in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the daughter of Rolla and Mary Pauline Riddle Perry. She was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ and worked as a Support Manager for Wal-Mart in Stanford.
Survivors are her husband of 38 years, Elmer Doug Smith or Crab Orchard; her mother, Mary Riddle Perry of Mt. Vernon; three daughters, Lisa Shelton (Ricky), Jennifer Simpson (Neal) and Mary Ann McFerron (Tim), all of Crab Orchard; a sister, Shirley Jean Sharp of Ypsilanti, Michigan; a brother, Rolla "Roy" Perry of Wisconsin and five granddaughters.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Elmer Douglas Smith.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 5 at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Thad Eubank officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Church of Christ Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Terry, Brett, Brad and Donald Smith and Steve and Keith Scharp.
