Susie A. Smith age 93 of Wildie, passed away Saturday at the Rockcastle County Hospital in Mt. Vernon.

Susie was born in Jackson County, Kentucky to the late Green and Rachel Cook Abrams. She was a homemaker and member of the Cave Springs Christian Church.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Jessie James Smith and several brother and sisters.

She is survived by two daughters Margaret Ricketts of Richmond and Virginia Wolfe of Wildie; five grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at Lakes Funeral Home in Berea with Rev. Kenton Parkey officiating. Burial will follow in the Berea Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be Tim Wolfe, Mark Ricketts, Tom Foley, Michael Ricketts and Rolf Ricketts.
