Mr. Richard Spoonamore, age 70 of Mt. Vernon, died Friday, May 30 at his farm. He was born in Rockcastle County on Sep. 13, 1932 the son of Victor and Vina Southard Spoonamore. He was a farmer, a retired truck driver for Parsons Gas, and was a member of the Livingston Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Geneva Allen Spoonamore; two sons, Ronnie Spoonamore (Glenna) of Mt. Vernon, and Richard Spoonamore (Sabrina) of Elizabethtown, KY; three daughters, Patricia Collins (Clifford) of Pine Hill, Pamela McGuire (Lonnie) of Orlando, and Victoria Bradley (Dwane) of Brodhead; one brother, Charles Spoonamore of Lockland, OH; three sisters, Dorothy Hasty and Betty Mullins, both of Mt. Vernon, and Ruby Broughton of Brodhead; and three stepchildren, Ronald Anglin of Berea, Vickie Rose of Richmond, and Sharon Sturgill of Mt. Vernon. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 4 step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Vina Spoonamore. |
