Hubert M. Stephens, 89, of Louisville, died Friday, February 27, 2004 at Baptist Hospital East.
He was a former deacon of Scaffold Cane Baptist Church, a 49-year-member of Masonic Lodge #853 in Okolona and a long-standing member of the Union of Operating Engineers, Local Teamsters 181.
Survivors are his wife, Jalie E. Stephens; two daughters, Diane Ott (John) and Carol Hazen (Bobby); a brother, Morris Stephens; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren and one step great, great grandchild.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 1 at Aron L. Heady & Son Funeral Home in Our Valley of Rest in LaGrange.
