From the Cincinnati Enquirer in Cincinnati, Ohio: Erma S. Thompson (nee Roberts),
beloved wife of the late James H. Thompson, loving mother of Anna Mae Bartlett,
Virgiline Anderson, Ruth Evans, Robert, Ray, James, Carl, Donald and the late Eva Mae
and Willy B. Thompson, also survived by 23 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
March 23, 1990. Age 89. Funeral service at Schmidt-Dhonau Funeral Home, 8633 Reading
Rd., Reading, Monday, March 26 at 2 p.m. Visitation at the funeral home Sunday from 3 -
6 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
(Erma was born in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky on 20 July 1900, the daughter of the late
John Wesley Roberts & Martha Rainwater. She died on 23 March 1990 in Montgomery,
Ohio. Her husband was James Henry Thompson who was born 16 March 1894 in Bell County,
Kentucky. He died 9 November 1938 in Dayton, Ohio.)
