Mrs. Ethel Vote, 68 of Route #5 Mt. Vernon died Saturday April 3, 2004 at her home after an illness of several months. She was born on March 23, 1936 in Rockcastle County the daughter of the late Emmett and Pearl Miller Bullock. She was a former employee of Parker Seal in Lexington, KY, she enjoyed crocheting, playing the guitar, and singing, and was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors are: Her husband; Clarence Vote of Route #5 Mt. Vernon. One son; Kevin Vote. One sister; Bessie Blanton of Oviedo, Florida. One grandson also survives. She was preceded in death by one son; Craig Vote.
