Dickie Joe
Williams age 57 of South Dogwood Drive passed away Thursday, March 25,
2004 at the Rockcastle County Hospital.
Dickie was
born in Madison County, Kentucky to Hallie McQueen Williams and the late
Jack Williams. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam and a member of the
Baptist faith.
In addition
to his mother he is survived by his two children Willie Williams and
Kenda Williams both of Berea; two sisters Joan Nayles and her husband
Kenneth and Jackie Ramey both of Berea; one niece Pamela Cummins and her
husband Scott of Berea; one nephew Rodney Nayles and his wife Gina of
Ohio; great nieces and nephews, Alex Cummins, Chelsea Sparks, Kara,
Jared and Jason Nayles; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral
services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 29, 3004 at Lakes Funeral Home
in Berea with Rev. Gordon Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in
the Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-9 p.m. at Lakes
Funeral Home.
Active
pallbearers will be Roger Davidson, Russell Isaacs, Bruce Baker, Steve
Kelley, Sam Whited, Eddie Massingill, Rodney Nayles and Jason Nayles.
Honorary bearers will be all the Kentucky Peace Makers, Joe Pitts, Bill
Smith, Jerry Ramey, Manuel Rader, Blake Abney, Jerry Tipton, Cart
Minter, Jimmy Dale Williams, Terry Seaborn and Garner Reece.
