Raymond R. Kelley, Sr.

 

Mr. Raymond Richard Kelley, Sr., 41, died on Sunday, Aug 8 (1982), at 8:45 a.m. at the home of a relative in Independence, KY, of an apparent heart attack.


A native of Tarentum, PA, he was born April 19, 1941, the son of Raymond C. and Mary (Pikun) Kelley of Sarver, PA.  He was married to Joyce Ann Smith on Aug 26, 1966 in Frankfort, IN.


He was of the Catholic faith and was employed at Hoover Universal for the past six years.  He also was in the Navy for seven years.


Funeral services will be conducted at Goodwin Funeral Home on Thursday, Aug 12, at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Ronnie Sivells officiating.  Music will be provided by Darlene Phillips and Clarence King.  Burial will be in the Jenny Ridge Cemetery in the Land Between the Lakes.


In addition to his wife, survivors include one son, Raymond R. Kelley, Jr. of the home; two daughters, Debra Ann Kelley and Sarah Lyn Kelley of the home; one sister Mrs. Donald (Marlene) Lackey of Butler, PA.; and one brother Thomas Kelley of Sarver, PA.


Active pallbearers were Bill Colley, Kenneth Butts, Danny Joyce, Johnny Joyce, Scottie Gray and Bobby Joyce.  Honorary pallbearers were Frank Foree, Joe Joyce, and Eura Joyce.
