Funeral services for Lola Mae Bush Lane, 73, of Cadiz, were conducted on
Friday, December 22, 2006, at 2 p.m., at King’s Funeral Home in Cadiz.
Revs. James Shuck and James Bush officiated at the services. Burial followed
in the Siloam Cemetery in Trigg County.
Mrs. Lane died on Wednesday, December 20, 2006, at 9:44 p.m., at Trigg County
Hospital following a long illness.
Mrs. Lane was born on June 14, 1933, in Trigg County. She was the daughter
of the late William Amos “Stub” and Irene Bullock Bush.
Mrs. Lane was a homemaker; a member of the Siloam United Methodist Church;
member of the Ms. Fits Relay For Life Team; and was an Avid Quilter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank
S. Lane, Sr.; and three sons, Frank Lane, Jr., Gary Lane, and Michael Lane.
Survivors include a son, Anthony Lane of Cadiz; a daughter and son-in-law,
Anna and Donny Allen of Cadiz; brother and sister-in-=law, Don and Janice
Bush of Hopkinsville; three sisters and brother-in-law, Carolyn Rogers and
Annie Huddleston, both of Cadiz, and Joe Hazel and Alfred Cunningham of Hopkinsville;
nine grandchildren, Mikey Lane, Nicole Bybee, Matt Lane, Trisha Garcia, all
of Cadiz, Jennifer Parsons of Stanford, Amy Connerbille of Louisville, Rhonda
Shiro of Christian County, Rita Allen of Fort Drum, N.Y., and Kenneth Allen
of Hopkinsville; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Lou Cain, pianist, and Brian and Brad Shuck, vocalists, provided the music.
Serving as pallbearers were Mikey Lane, Matt Lane, Kenneth Allen, Cole Bybee,
Justin Lane, Zachary Lane, Dylan Lane, Chris Futrell, and Landon Stinson.
