Transcriber's note:
Book One dates from April 1866 to 1881. All entries are hand written. On the cover is hand written 'Colored Marriage Book'. The pages are not numbered, so, for finding data easier, I have numbered the entries. At the end of these records are a few entries that were not marriage bonds. Five are declarations of living together, 1 Consent letter, and 1 Affidavit.
