These are my grandparents. John Barker and Florence (Pulliam) Jacobs, married at Union Grove Church, Trimble County, Dec 13, 1900.
I believe it is their wedding picture. He is son of Robert Walter and Elizabeth Kendall Jacobs
Elizabeth Jenetta (Kendall) Jacobs is my great grandmother. She was called "Lizzie".
Born: Jan 23, 1852 -- Died July 2, 1934, buried in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Father: James Kendall; Mother: Sallie(y) Mariah Duvall Kendall.
James S. Jacobs, son of Robert W. and Elizabeth Kendall Jacobs
His grandmother Sally(ie) Mariah Duvall Kendall, Mother of Elizabeth Kendall Jacobs. Sally was married to James Kendall, son of John Kendall.
The Duvall name for her is originally Devol. When she came to Trimble County and got married, it was spelled Duvall on her marriage papers. Also, the name thing happened with her brother when he married.
