Caleb Masterson's daughter, Polly, married William Hulse in 1818, Bourbon Co.  I'd like to learn where and when they moved since I've not located them in Bourbon Co. after the 1820 census.  Also, if anyone knows who William's parents were, I would greatly appreciate that information, too!  Carol Willis willis@cableone.net

I am looking for the maiden name of my great grandmother named Mary "Fannie" Moore, the wife of James Coburn Moore and anything else about her family.  She died shortly after the 1910 census leaving behind three children:  Quincy Ward, Jessie Belle, and Ida Elizabeth Moore.  Their son Quincy Ward Moore, my grandfather, was a lifelong resident of Ruddles Mills and son James Boyd Moore a lifelong resident of Millersburg.  My mother Ida Elizabeth Moore married George Robert Klee in 1946 in Paris and is still living at age 92 in Flemingsburg.

My family has lived in the Millersburg area for nearly least 200 years. I am directly related to the early pioneers and early settlers in the area. Hurst,Layson,Miller, Moore, Rankin, McClintock, Patton. I actually have many old letters and civil war era photos of some of these folks. It never fails to fascinate when learning of my lineage. Love the site!

Thanks in large part to the John Bircher information on this site and WFT I've enjoyed tracing my Leer family history from David Lehr (Henry Leer, David, William, David Michael, Charles Monros) to current.
If any descendants in the Leer line would like to guide me to copies of interesting photos or paper info I would greatly appreciate it.
Somehow...as with many families that move out of their origin...much was lost.
Thank you....Babette

Enjoy you site.I have ancestors William Patton, Joseph and James prior to 1811..to Highland county ohio.Relations with the McClintocks, Steeles, MCCunes,Moores, Laysons and Rankins. Also had an opportunity when younger to do my student teaching at Bourbon County High with "Cotton" Correll, Phillip Pridemore, and lived next to Pollianna Arnsbarger (Bill Arnsbarger's mother) and Jane Graham ( a teacher at BCHS). What a great area and town.
I did miss a family register report on the Mcclintocks which I believe was on your site.
Thanks for a great site!

I grew up in Lexington, but seemed like all I did was come up to Paris every weekend to see my Great aunt Mamie Allison Willmott. She was married to Caswell Prewitt Willmott, my Dad's Uncle. I still have many fond memories of Paris and the old Dairy Queen!

I am looking for information about Joseph Fry(e) born in Vernon, Bourbon County in 1805. I'd like to know about any Virginia connections -- also from where his parents came (and who they were). He moved to Missouri and then to Illinois where his son John Oliver was born. Thanks.

I am very curious about the information which is posted about the Morris-McClelland family:

55 M iii. Robert McClelland MORRIS was born on 17 Dec 1830. He died on 18 Dec 1914. Robert married Lucy LUNSFORD daughter of Littleton LUNSFORD on 29 Jun 1863.

Littleton Lunsford is one of my ancestors. I have 2 wives and and 6 children listed from records and census, but no Lucy Lunsford. I would love to know the source so I can correct my files.
