(Daniel REED is only found in the 1830 BC census. His household has 3 males and 1 female aged 20-29 and 5 children. The only other two HOUNSHALL marriages in BC may give clues to the marriage above - 1) Andrew HOUNSHELL married Catharine CROSS in BC on August 21, 1813. (See bound volume 3, page 251. Katherine GRAHAM may be the Catherine CROSS who married Andrew HAUNSHELL in BC on August 21, 1813. 2) John REED married Mary HOUNSHELL on August 6, 1831 in BC with the consent of Katharine GRAHAM for the marriage of "my daughter". Attest: John CONYERS and Daniel REED. John and Daniel were possibly brothers marrying sisters? G. GATES (Baptist) married one couple and T.M. PARISH the other. No HOUNSHELL households are on the 1820 Ky census. Andrew HAUNSHELL is on the 1820 Wythe co., VA census.  Jesse HOUNSHELL in Morgan co., Ky is the only HOUNSHELL in 1840 Ky. Katherine GRAHAM is not found on the 1840-1850 census nor does FS have a marriage for Katherine HOUNSHELL to a Mr. GRAHAM. Confusing the issue is a marriage for Andrew HOUNSHELL to Catharine PECK on June 16, 1803 in Wythe co., VA. Findagrave.com has no records for any of these REED / HAUNSHELL / HOUNSHELL / GRAHAM individuals. This bond is also in bound volume 4 part 1 page 30 and is repeated here for clarity.)

STATEMENT of John (X) ROSS given March 15, 1830 that "my son James Pen? ROSS was 21 years old on the 15th day of December 1829. No attest. (This statement appears later on the microfilm and further down the page of this transcription in its original position on the microfilm.)
Online sources provide different interpretations of this couple:
1)    Jeremiah PRATHER married Belinda HENRY, bond dated 16 July 1824 in BC with the consent of his father Jonathan PRATHER. Jonathan was on the 1830 BC census and listed 4 households from James R. ROSS on page 339. George HENRY is listed next to Jeremiah PRATHER on the 1840 BC census on page 338.
2)    Or, Belinda HENRY may have been the widow of Jeremiah PRATHER when she was married in BC in 1830 as Belinda PRATHER to James J. ROSS. Neither Jeremiah PRATHER nor James R. ROSS can be definitely identified on the 1840 census.
Two bits of conflicting information: Belinda PRATHER died in Morgan co., IL (findagrave.com). Jeremiah PRATHER married Sarah MURPHY in 1837 in Morgan co., IL. Jeremiah and Sarah would move and be buried in Texas. An Illinois death certificate (FS) for Sue J. WADE born 1846 in Iowa gives her as the daughter of James R. Ross born Ky and Belinda PRATHER. (There is a 4-year old Susan ROSS, in the household of James R. and Malinda ROSS of Lee co., Iowa. This bond and consent are also in bound volume 4 part 1 page 49 and is repeated here for clarity.)

Rebecca JAMESON (1774-1860) is buried in BC; the others cannot be found in findagrave.com.)
