GENERAL AFFIDAVIT.

STATE OF Kentucky
COUNTY OF Clinton

In the matter of Pension Claim of Sarah Brown widow of Eli Brown, Private, Co. H, 13th KY. Volunteers Calvary.

Personally came Claborn Brown of Albany, Ky. who being duly sworn declares that Milly Brown - the former wife of Eli Brown - the soldier above named died about April 1849 and that said soldier had no living wife when he married Sarah Brown. The claimant above named who is the living widow of said soldier. He further declares he has no interest in this claim and is not concerned in it's prosecution.

 

  Claborn Brown

     Sworn to and subscribed before me this day by above named affiant, Claborn Brown, and I certify that the above affidavit was read over and was fully made known to affiant before he executed same. I further certify affiant is personally known to me and that he is entitled to full faith and credit and I further certify I have no interest in this claim given under my hand this April 9th, 1884.
