Thomas H. Reynolds
Thomas H. Reynolds was born January 30, 1828, in Muhlenberg County, and is the fifth of eight children born to Joseph C. and Mary (Reynolds) Reynolds, natives of North Carolina and of Irish descent.
Thomas H. Reynolds was reared on a farm, received a common school education, and lived with his parents until the age of twenty-one, when he engaged in farming for himself. His father came to Muhlenberg County between 1790 and 1800.
Thomas H. was married October 19, 1861, to Sarah A. Imbler, of Muhlenberg County, a daughter of Jacob and Patsey (Bass) Imbler, natives of North Carolina and of Dutch and Irish descent, respectively. To them were born two children - one living, Martha E.
Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds are members of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mr. Reynolds located where he now resides, in 1860, on 480 acres, which he has acquired by his own efforts. He is a member of the K. of H.
