Note according to his Application for Headstone or Marker, William R. Rives should have a military gravestone here at the Gardner Cemetery. However, according to Muhlenberg County Kentucky Cemeteries Book Vol. 2, page 112, that stone is at the nearby Rives Cemetery.
Location: From Dunmor on US 431 South, take Forgey Mill Road east. The cemetery is on the left just past New Hebron Church.
