James Wilson Lam & Nancy Jane Eades

James Wilson Cates Lam, son of Elijah Lam and Martha G. Cates, was born 23 June 1851 in Muhlenberg Co., KY and died 18 February 1930, Junction City, Boyle Co., KY.

James W.C. Lam was a farmer, coal operator, banker, hotel operator, and mayor of Greenville 1905 - 1914.

He is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Greenville, Muhlenberg Co., KY.

He married on 09 December 1874, in Greenville, Nancy Jane Eades, daughter of Nathaniel Eades and Elizabeth Hancock. Nancy was born 05 September 1846, Muhlenberg Co., KY and died 28 February 1926, Muhlenberg Co., KY. She is buried with her husband.

  1. Eula Margaret Lam was born 01 October 1878, Muhlenberg, and died 14 February 1970, Muhlenberg. She is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Greenville. She married 17 October 1900, Charles Wickliffe Roark, son of J.L. Roark & Jennie E. Morgan, in Muhlenberg. He was born 1877 and died 05 April 1929 and is buried with his wife.
  2. Mayme Elizabeth Lam was born 05 March 1885, Muhlenberg, and died 20 March 1956, Muhlenberg. She is buried in Evergreen Cemetery. She married 15 February 1911, Hubert Meredith in Muhlenberg. Hubert Meredith was born in Warren Co., KY, son of R.W. Meredith & Julie Douglas. He was born 10 October 1880 and died 31 December 1956 and is buried with his wife.
