Thomas C. Barfield 1775-
Thomas C. Barfield, born 1775, was the son of Jesse Francis Barfield and Sarah Castellaw of Duplin County, North Carolina.
Jesse Francis Barfield was the son of Richard & Mary Barfield. Richard and Mary were the parents of Fredrick, Stephen, Charity, who married a Williams; Lewis, Jon, Solomon and Thomas C.
Thomas C. Barfield married Cinderilla Wilkins, the marriage believed to have taken place in North Carolina. Based on marriage, census and other records in Muhlenberg, the following children are most likely the children of Thomas C and Cinderilla Barfield:
- Lewis K. Barfield. Born 1810. Married 1) Angeline Wickliffe October 22, 1832. Married 2) Elizabeth Inman, December 4, 1836.
- Charity “Chellie” Barfield. Born 1814. Married Randolph D. Reno, January 9, 1834, Muhlenberg County.
- Katherine Barfield.
- Hepseba Barfield. Married Jesse Gray, November 10, 1835, Muhlenberg County.
- Jesse Barfield. Married Elizabeth Watkins, March 1, 1821, Muhlenberg County.
- Nancy Barfield. Married Lewis Kincheloe, August 31, 1819, Muhlenberg County. (This could actually be a sibling to Thomas C. Barfield rather than his daughter.)
