Except Resin who has not been located after 1850.

Writing of Jonathan's marriage to Rebecca, Perrin states:

“Soon after that event he bought wild land in Spencer County, Ky., where he subsequently improved a farm, upon which he resided for many years.”

Jonathan is taxed on 50 acres in 1821 in Bullitt Co., Kentucky. In 1824, after Spencer County is formed, he is again taxed for 50 acres. Then in 1839, Jonathan purchases an additional 21 acres from Reason Heady, also in Spencer County.

After tending to this land for about 50 years, Jonathan sells 71 acres to M.V. Buckner in 1853. Perrin again writes:

“In 1854 he sold out and removed to Muhlenberg County, Ky., where he bought another farm where he resided until his death which occurred on his seventy-sixth birthday.”

Jonathan, Griffin and James next appear in the 1860 Muhlenberg County census. According to Perrin, Jonathan dies in 1860. Archibald, who in 1860 lives in Ohio County near Point Pleasant was administrator to his estate. The estate was finally settled on 10 August 1865.

Son Hadin marries Margaret P. Bennett, daughter of Washington and Indiana (Coffman) Bennett, on 08 October 1854 at the Bennett home in Muhlenberg. The following year, grandson Harvey L. Patterson is born in Log Creek, Muhlenberg. Sons Jonathan H. and Alfred also appear in the 1860 census of Ohio Co., Kentucky.
