Penrod-Nofsinger. Miss Agnes Penrod of Owensboro, and Mr. Lilburn Nofsinger of Greenville, were united in marriage Saturday night, February 19.
Mrs. Nofsinger is the attractive daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh C. Penrod and was formerly of Greenville. Mr. Nofsinger is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Nofsinger of Bremen and holds a responsible position with the First National Bank at Greenville.
The young couple are now at home on Trowbridge Street, Greenville.
Local Happenings. Perkins-Dillard Marriage. Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Perkins, 312 Guthrie-Coke Apartments, Louisville, announce the marriage of their daughter Anna Frances, to Dr. Harry Knight Dillard, son of Dr. and Mrs. J.P. Dillard of Charleston, Illinois.
The wedding took place Thursday night, March 3, 1938, at the First Christian Church, Dr. Homer W. Carpenter officiating. The attendants were Miss Ruth Almsted and trimmed in hedge rose, and navy blue accessories. She wore a shoulder bouquet of pink roses and blue delphinium. Miss Olmstead wore a dubonnet ensemble and a shoulder bouquet of Talisman roses.
Dr. and Mrs. Dillard will make their home in Wayland, Kentucky, where Dr. Dillard will be associated with Dr. M.V. Wicker.
Mrs. Dillard was a graduate of the University of Louisville and a member of Zeta Tau Alpha fraternity. Dr. Dillard was a graduate of De Pauw [sic] University and received his M.D. degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He was a member of Alpha Kappe [sic] Kappa fraternity.
Mr. W.L. Powell, of Drakesboro and Miss Kate Browning, of Central City, were united in marriage here at 3 o'clock last Thursday afternoon, at the home of Rev. G.B. McDonald, who performed the ceremony, a few friends attending.
