Bremen - Mrs. Rilda Lee Abbott, 52, died at Hopkins County Hospital Thursday, Feb. 8, at 6:15 p.m. She was born in Muhlenberg County Oct. 14, 1925 and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jane Miller of Bremen Route 1 and Mrs. Janice K. Devine of Greenville; parents, Mr. and Mrs. T.B. Wilcox of Bremen Route 1; six brothers, James, Billy, Wesley and Jerry of Bremen Route 1, Bobby Gene of Madisonville, Charlie of Richland.
Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Tucker Funeral Home by the Rev. Archie Oliver with burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
Mrs. Benjie Gossett's mother dies in Rumsey
Rumsey - Mrs. Minnie Abrams, 69, died at 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 1, at the home of her son, Gurden Abrams, Rumsey, after a long illness.
She was the widow of the late Louis Abrams. Mrs. Abrams was born in 1890 in Ohio County and has lived most of her life in McLean County. She was a member of the Shutts Chapel Methodist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Miss Iva Lou Abrams, Rumsey, Mrs. Benjie Gossett, Graham, Mrs. R.V. Love, Rumsey; five sons, Gurden Abrams, James Abrams, Edward Abrams, all of Rumsey, Roy Abrams, Island, and Ulis T. Abrams, Princeton, Ind.; 20 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Flora Coin, Island.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday from the Poplar Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Robert T. Nall, pastor of the Pack Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in Poplar Grove Cemetery.
Central City - Anna Lucille Adcock, 81, of Route 4, Central City, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 1994, at her residence. She was born in Muhlenberg County, was a housewife and was a member of Crossing Holiness Church.
Survivors include one son, Allen Adcock of Central City; one daughter, Beverly Adcock of Central City; one foster daughter, Jane Haire of Central City; two stepsons, Shelby Adcock of Central City and Lonnie Adcock of Evansville; one grandson; one granddaughter; five foster grandchildren; 13 stepgrandchildren; nine foster great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Margie Peterson and Lorriane Gregory, both of Central City.
Services are at 2 p.m. Monday at Crossing Holiness Church. Burial in Rosehill Cemetery, Central City. Visitation after 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Tucker Funeral Home, Central City.
Central City - Ed G. Adcock, 81, died at his home in the Nelson community Saturday after a lingering illness. He was a retired farmer, born in Muhlenberg county, Aug. 15, 1875. He is a member of the Nelson Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Florence Adcock, two sons, Elza Adcock, Chicago, and Elvie R. Adcock, Dayton, Ohio; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; one brother, Clea Adcock of Martwick, one sister, Mrs. Carrie Jernigan of Martwick.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Nelson Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Roy Geary, pastor. Burial will be in the Rosehill cemetery.
The body will be removed from the Tucker Funeral Home to his late residence this afternoon.
Central City - Edward E. Adcock, 55, formerly of Central City, died Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Anne's Hospital, Chicago, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident early that day in Chicago.
Adcock was born in Muhlenberg County, Nov. 26, 1910.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Helen Adcock; two daughters, Miss Virginia Adcock and Mrs. Mary Lou Kaloyeros, his mother, Mrs. Florence Adcock, all of Chicago, and a brother, E. R. Adcock, Detroit.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Rose Hill Cemetery, Central City. Friends may call at the Tucker Funeral Home after 9 a.m. Thursday.
Central City - Eura Mae Adcock, 63, of South Ninth Street, Central City, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1993, at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. She was born in Muhlenberg County.
Survivors include her husband, Russell Adcock; a son, Dale Adcock of Bowling Green; a granddaughter, Magen Adcock of Bowling Green; a brother, John Noffsinger of Oxford, Ind.; and two sisters, Hallie Adcock of Bremen and Pauline Noffsinger of Gishton.

Central City, Ky. - Mrs. Georgia Ann Adcock, 76, died at the home of her son, Balford Adcock, in Cleaton, Monday. She was born May 13, 1875, and was a member of the Cleaton Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving besides the son, are one brother, E. O. Vincent, Chicago; one granddaughter.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. today at Cleaton Baptist Church, the Rev. Mr. Young, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Crescent Company Cemetery.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. (CDT) Saturday in Rose Hill Cemetery, Central City, conducted by the Rev. James Wathen, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Cleaton - Joseph Balford Adcock, 73, of Cleaton, died at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at his home after a brief illness. He was born March 17, 1894, in Muhlenberg County, and was a member of Cleaton Baptist Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lillie Mae Adcock; one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Nell Vincent, Beechmont; two granddaughters, and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Tucker Funeral Home, Central City, conducted by the Rev. R. D. Mize, pastor of Cleaton Baptist Church, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Cleaton - Mrs. Kate Katherine Adcock, 88, died Friday in the Muhlenberg Community Hospital, Greenville, of a lingering illness. She was a member of the Cleaton Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Henry Adcock of Central City and Oscar Adcock of Cleaton; four daughters, Mrs. Gertie Raley of Cleaton, Mrs. Mary Nelson of South Carrollton, and Mrs. Ruby Gregory and Mrs. Jennie Jernigan of Chicago.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Tucker Funeral Home, Central City, with the Rev. Tom Sale officiating. Burial will be in Crescent Cemetery.
Mrs. Ernest Adler, 80, Dies Aug. 17
Dunmor - Mrs. Ernest Adler, 80, of Dunmor Route 1, died Sunday, Aug. 17 at her residence.
The former Gladys Gillock, she was the daughter of John Emory and Ellen Paxton Gillock and was born Dec. 18, 1894, in Warren County. She was married to the late Ernest (Buck) Adler and was a member of Pleasant Union General Baptist Church.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19 at Wiley's Chapel Methodist Church, with the Rev. Willie Blake officiating. Burial was in Wiley's Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Chester Paul Adler and Randall Adler, of Dunmor Route 1; daughter, Mrs. Louise Vincent of Graham Route 1; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Ulrich of Mt. Washington, Mrs. Kate Chatman of Greenfield, Ind. and Mrs. Ethel Gaddle of Louisville; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Central City - Ray Junior Adler, 77, of Madisonville, formerly of Central City, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. He was born in Muhlenberg County, was a retired oil field worker and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Gossett Adler; seven children, including Rebecca Adler of Madisonville; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wilbur Adler of Greenville and Bryant Adler of Central City; and a sister, Ruby Hudson of Sacramento.
Services are at 2 p.m. today at Powers Chapel Church in Bremen. Burial will be in New Harmony Cemetery in Bremen. Visitation is until noon today at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City and after 1 p.m. today at the church.
Greenville, Ky. - Roger Dale Adler, 7-month-old child of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Adler, died at his grandparent's home at 2 p.m. yesterday.
Surviving are his parents; two brothers, Ronnie and Donald Ray Adler; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Richey, Friendship, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Adler.
Funeral services will be today at 9 a.m. at graveside in Briar Creek cemetery.
Central City - Steven Dewayne Adler, nine-week-old infant of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Adler, Route 2, Central City, died at 1:55 a.m. Friday.
Surviving are the parents; four brothers, Donald Ray, Ronnie, Tony and Wilbur; one sister, Doris Jean, all at home; grandparents, Fred Adler, Central City, Mrs. Rebecca McPherson, South Carolina; Mr. and Mrs. Homer Richey, of Graham.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Tucker Funeral Home here. The Rev. S. A. Kittinger, of Bremen, will officiate. Burial in Briar Creek Cemetery.
