Mrs. Scarramucci, 36, Dies Aug. 22
Mrs. Mary Kathryn Moorman Scarramucci, 36, of Pittsburgh, Pa., formerly of Central City, died Friday, Aug. 22, at her home.
She was a registered nurse who took her training at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital. She served in the United States Air Force.
She is survived by her husband, John Scarramucci; two children, Carl and Bryan Scarramucci; foster grandmother, Mrs. T.H. Brown of South Carrollton.
Funeral and burial were in Swissvale, Pa.
John Schaefer, an inmate of the poor farm, died last Saturday night from complications incident to his age, 76 years. Sunday afternoon his body was buried on the farm beside that of his wife, who died several months ago.
Burial at Central City
Newburg - Funeral services for Henry F. Schindler, 70, who died of heart disease here Thursday will be held at 9:30 o'clock this morning at the Schindler home in Water street after which the body will be taken to Central City, Ky., for services at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon. The Rev. Forrest Stitt of the Newburg Presbyterian church and the Rev. Mr. Bonewell of the Nazarene church were in charge. Burial will be at Central City.
Mr. Schindler operated a shoe repair shop here, where he had lived for the past 22 years. He is survived by his wife, Maggie; three daughters, Mrs. Oscar Barnett, Mrs. Hazel kennedy and Miss Ora Lee Schindler; two sons, Henry T. Schindler and Bosse T. Schindler and five grandchildren.
Grace Salsburg Scott, 74, of 319 Ridgewood, died Sunday at her home. She was born in Muhlenberg County and was a retired schoolteacher.
Survivors include a son, Richard Scott of Owensboro; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. A.C. Green of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Marion Willis of Central City and a brother, Frank Salsburg of Central City.
Services are 11 a.m. today at Tucker Funeral Home, Central City. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Central City. Visitation at the funeral home.
Central City - William Jefferson Schmidt, 71, 415 N. 3rd Street, Central City, died at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville at 6 a.m. Tuesday.
A retired coal miner, he was born in Muhlenberg County on Dec. 10, 1891, and was a member of the Central City First Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hilda Schmidt; two sons, Charles, Greenville, and James, Nashville; six grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Otha Harris, Riverside, Calif.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Tucker Funeral Home by the Rev. Bob Gant, Louisville, assisted by the Rev. Richard Ramsey, pastsor of the Central City First Methodist Church.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
