In Memoriam.
Mary Catherine, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. B. Southard, was born December, 1905, and died of diptheria at Luzerne Oct. 8, 1909. She was a bright, affectionate child, the joy and treasure of the home. Her visit to this eart was brief - only three years and ten months - but God lent her presence like a beam of radiant light to bless and brighten the home and then transplanted her to a land where sorrow and temptation are unknown. Mary Cathiner was indeed an interesting child, her life like a sweet flower unfolding each day with new beauty. Her pure and gentle spirit was given back to its make before it had “tasted life's dark and bitter stream or stained the plumage of its sinless years.” Where is that spirit flown?
