Last will and testament
I, Mrs. Margaret Dentzel, make this my last will and testament.
1st I will and bequeath forty (40.00) dollars to the Roman Catholic asylum in Louisville, Ky. This to be paid in two years.
2nd I will and bequeath to my oldest daughter Mary Nolan Dentzel five hundred (500.00) dollars.
3rd I will and bequeath $25.00 twenty five dollars for masses to be offered for the repose of my soul.
4th I will and bequeath the remainder of my property to be equally divided among all my children, Mary Nolan Dentzel, Thomas Henry Dentzel, Catherine Dentzel, Martin Dentzel, Henry Edmund Dentzel, Margaret Dentzel and Magdalina Dentzel.
5th I appoint my oldest daughter Mary administrator of my estate without bond.

The foregoing was this day produced in court and admitted to probate as the last will and testament of Margaret Dentzel, deceased, and ordered to be recorded, whereupon the same and this certificate have been duly recorded in my office.
