Delphiann Medley Will

Transcription

I Delphiann Medley of Central City, Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, do hereby make this my last will and testament.

I give, devise and bequeath my estate and property, real and personal, as follows, that is to say, my sister Devory Estes now living in Louisville, Kentucky, shall have one dollar which shall be her entire part of my estate and all the remainder of my estate both realty and personal, money or other things, shall go to and belong to my sister Kittie Brinkman, as compensation for the kind treatment and caring for and supporting me in my feeble days.

I do appoint L.C. Brinkman, my nephew, of Central City, Kentucky, executor of this my will.

In witness whereof I have signed and sealed and request this will to be deposited in the Central City Deposit Bank until after my death when it shall be admitted to before the Muhlenberg County Court.

Witness my hand this the 4 day of April 1895.

The foregoing last will and testament of Dephia Meadley deceased was produced in open court on the date aforesaid and was proven to be the act and deed of the said decedent by the oathes of W.J. Ross, Gabrael J. Doss, W.A. Slaton and A.J. Reed, the subscribing witnesses thereto, whereupon the same is adjudged to be the last will and testament of the said Dephian Meadley and ordered to be recorded which is now done accordingly.
