Greenville, Ky. May 25, 1904
In the name of God, Amen. I, Harriet Rumsey Weir, contemplating the uncertainty of human life, being of sound mind, and in reasonable health, do make this my last will and testament, revoking all other wills and testaments heretofore made.
First, I devise all my just debts paid. I appoint my son Miller Weir of Jacksonville, Illinois, my executor, with full power to sell, and convey any real estate, and devise and request that no bond be required by court of him, should he not survive me, I appoint Lewis Reno or Paul Weir as my executor.
My son Edward R. Weir and my daughter Anna C. Eaves having received their portion, and my other children having died without issue, I hereby will and bequeath to my son Miller Weir of Jacksonville, Ill. all of my property of every kind and character, real, personal and mixed, also my share in the assets of Max Weir & Co. subject to bequests hereinafter mentioned.
Should my son Edward R. Weir survive me and be in need, he is to receive out of my estate sufficient to support him as long as he may live.
I will and bequeath to my nephew Paul Weir of Owensboro, Ky. as a token of love his grandmother's bureau which sits to the left of the door as you enter the room over the parlor, the book case and books are not included.
I will and bequeath to my two beloved nieces, Bell Griffith and Harriet W. Green, any piece of furniture that they may select and desire except their grandmother's red setter, which I will and bequeath to my granddaughter Fanita Weir of Jacksonville, Ill.
My two nieces above mentioned have been as daughters to me. May the Lord bless them and theirs.
I give and bequeath to Harry W. Weir as a token of love two hundred dollars.

I, H.L. Kirkpatrick, clerk of the Muhlenberg County Court, certify that the foregoing instrument of writing was produced to the Regular Term of this court March 31st, 1913, and admitted to probate and ordered to be recorded as the last true will and testament of Harriet Rumsey Weir, deceased, which is now done accordingly.
