Charles Rice, son of Campbell Rice. Campbell Rice was a Methodist minister and a prominent resident of Willard KY and Sheriff of Carter Co. in 1844. Campbell Rice is buried in Campbell Rice Memorial Cemetary. Photo is of Charles, his son, who married Nancy Hensley. They lived and died at Hazel Green, Wolfe Co. KY. He was a lawyer and violinist. Charles Rice is the brother of Nelson Tatum Rice, who were the parents of James Holman Rice of Carter Co.
