The baseball team was a source
of recreation and pride for the residents of Bon Jellico. Games were held
on Saturday afternoons. The baseball field was across the railroad and
road from the Commissary in a level field near the company barn. "Of
course they had to clear away the cow piles and horse biscuits before they
could play ball." Fans would sit on the tracks and cheer on the
team. The Bon Jellico team played other community teams in the area including
Williamsburg, Jellico, Pruden an Emlyn.
