The Robert Fritts Family

 

    Robert Fritts, son of Bill (Will) Fritts, was born in 1905; his wife was a Gurley. He worked at Bon Jellico and Black Star as a motorman.

Sons: John, Tom, Guy, Robert
Daughters: Sarah, Mable, Stella, Francis

**Note from Stella Fritts Rooden Aug. 9, 1983:
Stella Fritts attended school at Bon grades 1 thru 8 and taught 1st and 2nd grades at Bon. She married O.G. Rooden who also taught at Bon in 1929. O.G. passed away in March, 1983. Stella and O.G. had one son, Dr. Paul Rooden and a daughter Jill Rooden Bailey.

“ Earl, as you know, you were one of my teachers at Bon School. Four of us kids made our grades and went to Williamsburg High School. Those school days I will never forget; they were all memorable, happy days. But no difference how far away one gets, you always want to come back home. I’m happy you and the folks that made Bon Jellico are keeping the memory alive.”
