Carrol Green,
son of W.A. and Susie Nunley Green, married Nannie Hinkle; they had a son,
Donnie, and a daughter,
Geraldine. Carrol worked
at the mines at Bon Jellico. They moved to High Splint where he worked while
Nannie run the boarding house. They bought the Gentry Hotel and ran it for
years. For several years they owned and ran City Drug Store in Williamsburg
and Green’s Restaurant.
