NEW 1st Kentucky Cavalry History

Confederate Soldiers from Nelson County This list came from a combination of a list by George R. Mattingly published in the Kentucky Standard in 1904 and again in 1912. And one by Dr. A. H. Merrifield listing Confederate soldiers from Bloomfield, Kentucky also published in the Standard around 1903. Those lists were compiled by John B. Thomas who added some information from the Kentucky Adjutant General's book of Confederate servicemen and created the list posted here. This web site belongs to Mike Cain. Please thank him for his hard work!
