Earl Tackett, Christopher --1965-2005 Funeral services
were held Friday, August 12, 1 p.m. at the Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel for Christopher Earl Tackett, 40, of
Belcher, Ky., formerly of Staffordsville, Ky., who
passed away Tuesday, August 9 at Pikeville Medical
Center in Pikeville, Ky. Mr. Tackett was born February
7, 1965 in Jefferson County, Ky., son of James E. and
Nancy Powers Tackett, both of Belcher, Ky. He was a
heavy equipment operator. Surviving are his wife, Louella Stewart Tackett of Belcher, Ky.; one step-son,
Joshua Meade of Belcher, Ky.; his maternal grandmother,
Josephine Pate; three brothers, Craig (Bobbi) Tackett of
Prestonsburg, Ky., Daniel (Jeanne) Tackett of
Catlettsburg, Ky., and Mark (Kym) Tackett of Midway, Ky.
The service was officiated by Dean Tackett and Ronnie
Spriggs, with burial in the Highland Memorial Park at
Staffordsville, Ky. Arrangements under the direction of
the Jones-Preston Funeral Home of Paintsville, Ky.

Tacket, Louella -1935-2005-CYNTHIANA - Louella Hamm
Tackett, age 70, Harrison County, died Sunday, August 7,
2005, at her residence. Born in Carter County, March 30,
1935, to the late Elzie and Pearl Stanley Hamm, she was
a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her
parents she is preceded in death by four brothers,
Claude, Elmer, Charlie and Ernest Hamm; and one sister,
Charlotte Hamm. She is survived by her husband, Dallas
H. Tackett; two sons, Perry Bruce (Elaina) Ball, Paris
and Dwayne (Stacy)
Tackett, Carlisle; a daughter, Cynthia Tackett
(Jonathan) Gillispie, Carlisle; two brothers, Clyde E.
Hamm, Berry and Ralph Hamm, Lexington; a sister, Ocie
Towles, Lexington and seven grandchildren. Funeral
services will be conducted 11 A.M. Wednesday at Ware
Funeral Home by Rev. Preston O. Jones. Visitation will
be from 5 until 9 p.m. Tuesday. Graveside Services
will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Eagle Hall
Cemetery, Soldier, Kentucky. Memorial contributions to
Hospice of the Bluegrass.

Tackett, Sina (Conley) 1911-1996 Sina Tackett, 84,
formerly of Staffordsville, died Tuesday, Feb.6 1996, at
Fairhaven Community Nursing Home in Upper Sandusky Ohio
Mrs. Tackett was born March 28, 1911, in Johnson County,
the daughter of the late Blackburn and Stella Adams
Conley. She was also preceded in death by her husband,
Challie Tackett, on July 1, 1971; five brothers, Henry,
Floyd, Wade, Sherman and Lundy Tackett; and four
sisters, Anne Tackett, Minnie Tackett, Mayme Skaggs and
Dorothy Rich. Surviving are two sons, Charles Roy
Tackett of Carey, Ohio, and William Homer Tackett of
Upper Sandusky, Ohio; four daughters, Bonnie Lee Wells
of West Van Lear, Margaret Helen Picklesimer and
Marietta Dyer, both of Carey, Ohio, and Junie Faye
Wilcox of Findley, Ohio; one brother, Wayne Conley of
Flat Gap; one sister, Betty Morehart of Mesa, Arizona;
and 24 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and three
step-great-grandchildren Funeral service were held
Friday, February 9, at Staffordsville Freewill Baptist
Church, with Rev. Randy
Nichols officiating. Burial was in Staffordsville Church
Cemetery, Johnson Co Ky.

Taulbee, Herbert Lee -70, of Wellington, died Thursday,
August 25, 2005. Born on Saturday, August 10, 1935, at
Campton, Kentucky, Herbert was a son of the late Lewis
Clinton and Mattie Perry Taulbee. He was a retired
farmer, a U .S. Army veteran of the Korean War, and an
Elder of the Regular Baptist Church. In addition to his
parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Lewis
Clinton Taulbee, Jr., and an infant sister, Hatta Faye
Taulbee. Survivors include his wife, Lois Gennine
Ferguson Taulbee; six children, Herbert Scotty Taulbee
and wife, Barbara, Sheila Gay Osborne and husband,
William, William Taulbee and wife, Alyce, all of
Wellington, Brenda Lee Howard and husband, Mark, of
Indiana, Christopher Kent Taulbee and wife, Heather, of
West Liberty, and Johnny Marvin Taulbee and wife, Hope,
of Wellington; 18 grandchildren and 14 great
grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 10
a.m. Monday, August29, at Potter Funeral Home Chapel,
with Rev. Jackie Smith officiating. Burial followed in
the Perry-Cox Cemetery, Hwy. 772,Ezel, with Potter
Funeral Home, of West Liberty, in charge of
arrangements. Pallbearers were Christopher Scott
Taulbee, Markie Howard, Adam Howard, Jamie Osborne,
Johnnie Dragoo, and Johnny Taulbee.

Thacker, Ruby -73, of Greasy Creek, died Tuesday, Sept.
13, 2005, at Pikeville Medical Center. She was born in
Pike County, March 7, 1932, a daughter of the late
Ballard and Pearl Cox Robinson. She was a member of the
Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded
in death by her husband, Goble Thacker. She is survived
by four daughters, Yvonne Slone of Powells Creek, Tammy
Stanley and Janet Bentley, both of Greasy Creek, Debbie
Mullins of Mare Creek; one sister, Ersie Justice of
Michigan; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept.
16, in the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church with
Jimmy Jack Adkins, Junior Mullins, Edward Lee Adkins and
Jackie Diles officiating. Burial will follow in the
Annie E. Young Cemetery, Chloe Road. Arrangements are
under direction of Justice Funeral Home of Pikeville.

Thompson, Cecil C. - 1937-2005 Funeral services will be
held Saturday, August 6, 2 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home
Chapel for Cecil C. Thompson, 68, of West Van Lear, Ky.,
who passed away Wednesday, August 3 at Highlands
Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Ky.Mr. Thompson
was born June 26, 1937 in Wise County, Va., son of the
late Edgar and Mary Maples Thompson. He was a retired
employee of General Motors. He was also preceded in
death by four brothers, Roy and Glenn Thomas, and H.L.
and Robert Moore; and two sisters, Jeanette Ward and
Linda Thompson. Surviving are two sons, Donald R.
Thompson of Painesville, Ohio, and Michael S. Thompson
of Willowick, Ohio; one daughter, Gretchen L. Mullins of
Charleston, W.Va.; a companion, Judith C. Ramey of Van
Lear, Ky.; three brothers, Charles Moore of Kalamazoo,
Mich., Earl Thompson of Dearborn Heights, Mich., and
James Thompson of Ros Commons, Mich,; three sisters,
Elizabeth Atkins of Ros Commons, Mich., Edna Belt of
Lavonia, Mich., and Hazel Hall of Raven, Ky.; and
eight grandchildren. The service will be officiated by
Clinton “Buddy” Jones, with burial following in the
Miners Cemetery at Eastern, Ky.Arrangements under the direction of the Hall Funeral
Home of Martin, Ky.

Trimble, Mary Lou Amburgey -90, of Pomeroy ton, died
Tuesday, August 23, 2005, at Winsor Care, in Mount
Sterling. Born September 3, 1914, in Menifee County,
Kentucky, Mary Lou was a daughter of the late J Troy
Amburgey and Aniss Ledford Amburgey. She was a retired
employee of Menifee County Board of Education, a
dedicated Christian for 75 years, and a long time member
of Mariba First Church of God. In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Willie Trimble, and two sisters. Survivors include three
daughters, Ophay and Robert Northcutt, of Dayton, Ohio,
Loretta and Donald Ratliff, of Frenchburg, and Rita and
Woodson Stull, of Jeffersonville; one son, Garth
Trimble, of Frenchburg; 12 grand-children; 20 great
grandchildren; and 3 great, great grandchildren; one
sister, Ora Hopkins, of Englewood, Ohio; and a brother,
Tunney and Lorene Amburgey, of Mount Sterling. Funeral
services were conducted at 2pm Thursday, August 25, at
Menifee Home For Funerals, with Bro. Gary Ledford, Rev.
Stanley Hutchinson, and Rev. Robert Northcutt
officiating. Burial followed in the Catron Cemetery, at
Pomeroy ton, with Menifee Home For Funerals, of
Frenchburg, in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were
Bruce Northcutt, Lanny Trimble, Greg Trimble, Tim
Ratliff, Todd Trimble, Terry Stull, Tunney Stull, and
Tracy Trimble.

Ueltschi, David Lee -68, of Danville, died Wednesday,
Sept.7, 2005, at Ephriam McDowell Hospital, in Danville.
Born Friday, Sept. 11,1936, in Franklin County,
Kentucky, David was a son of the late Gilbert and Hallie
McCoy Ueltschi. He was a member of Danville
First Church of God, and Hiram Masonic Lodge, in
Frankfort, also a Shriner, and member of N.A.R.F.E.
David was a Sergeant Major
with the Kentucky National Guard, retiring after 36
years of service. He was also a retired Danville post
master after serving 42 years.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Goodpaster Ueltschi;
one-step-son, Justin Whitt, of Shelbyville; one
step-daughter, Tamatha Havens and husband, Bill Renfro,
of Owenton; two sons, Daryl Ueltschi and fiancée',
Christine, of Bradenton, Florida, Stephen Ueltschi and
wife,
Francie, of Frankfort; one daughter, Amy Mayes and
husband Curtis, of Frankfort; a former daughter-in-law,
Susan Tatum; ten grandchildren, Jordan Elam, Ian Gunkier,
Garnet Owens, Daniel Ueltschi, Laura Ueltschi, Sommer
Ueltschi, Courtney Ueltschi, Kristen Mayes, Lauren
Mayes, and Leland Mayes; his mother-in-law, Gertrude
Goodpaster, of Grassy Creek; one sister, Madonna
Osborne, of
Frankfort; one brother, Tony Ueltschi and wife, Thelma,
of Waddy; an aunt, Lena Thompson, of Frankfort; one
uncle, Albert Ueltschi; and a special aunt and uncle,
Waldo and Elizabeth Lacy, of Grassy Creek; also several
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted
at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11,at Potter Funeral Home
Chapel, with Pastor Mike Cox and Bro. Don Drake
officiating. Burial followed in Grassy Lick Cemetery, at
Grassy Creek, with Potter Funeral Home, of West Liberty,
in charge of arrangements. Masonic services were
conducted Saturday evening at 7:30p.m., by Highland
Masonic Lodge. Military rites were conducted at the
graveside by Morgan
County D.A.V.
