Order Admitting Will to Probate
On this the 19th day of November, 1957, came on to be heard the written application of Marie N. Bills, a resident of Tarrant County, Texas, for the probate of a certain insturment in writing, dated May 2, 1957, purporting and alleged to be the Last Will and Testament of Thomas H. Dentzel, deceased, and it being proved to the satisfation of the Court that this Court has jurisdiction of this estate; that every citation required by law has been duly issued, served, and returned in the manner and for the length of time required by law; that the Testator, Thomas H. Dentzel, at the time of executing said will and testament was over the age of 21 years, was of sound mind, and died October 25, 1957, in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, and that the said Testator, both at and before his death resided in and had his domicile in Tarrant County, Texas, that the instrument offered for probate herein is the Last Will and Testament of the said Testator, and the same was executed under the circumstances required by law to make it a valid will, and that the same was futher duly self-proved in the manner and form as required by law, and that the same has not been revoked by such Testaor, and it is entitled to probate. And it further appearing that the applicant, Marie N. Bills, was named in said will as Independent Executrix without bond; that she is entitled by law to Letters and is not disqualified from excepting Letters:
It is therefore, Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the said will on file herein be, and the same is, hereby admitted to probate and record as the Last Will and Testament of the said Thomas H. Dentzel, deceased, and that such will together with the application for probate [?] be recorded in the Minutes of this Court.
It is further Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed by the Court that Letters Testamentary thereof be granted to the said Marie N. Bills without bond, upon her taking the oath required by law, and when the said Marie N. Bills shall have qualified according to law, the Clerk of this Court [?] issue Letters in accordance with this judgment.
And it further appearing to the Court that Joe B. Owen, H.H. M[?] and Charles H. Haws are citizens of Tarrant County, Texas, and disinterested persons in said estate, and it is therefore ordered that they, or any two of them, be and they are hereby appointed to appraise the estate, both real and personal, of Thomas H. Dentzel, deceased.

(8) Petitioner would further show to the court that decedent was divorced, that Decedent's wife, Norma Adela Dentzel, died a number of years ago in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, and that said decedent, Thomas H. Dentzel, never remarried.

County of Tarrant } Know All Men By These Presents:
That I, Thomas H. Dentzel, of the County and State aforesaid, being of sound and disposing mind, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament, hereby expressly revoking all wills and codicils heretofore made by me.
Item One: I direct that all expenses of my last illness and all of my just debts be paid.
Item Two: As promptly as possible after the Executrix or Executor of my estate hereinafter named shall qualift, I direct that proper proof of my death be secured and furnished to the Order of Railway Conductors of America, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in which organization I hold Certificate of Life Insurance No. 5433, having a face value of $1,986.00. Upon receipt of payment of said policy, including all interest and other benefits accrusing thereunder, my Executrix or Executor shall pay over and deliver the proceeds thereof in equal shares to my brothers, Martin and Harry Dentzel, and my sister, Madeline Dentzel. Should any one of them not survive me, then the proceeds of the policy shall be paid and divided between the survivors, or to the survivor. In the event that my sister and brothers thus named do not survive me, then I give and bequeath the proceeds of said policy to my nephew, Ralph Christian, and my two nieces, Mary Christian Sullivan and Henrietta Christian, share and share alike.
Item Three: I hereby give and bequeath to my sister-in-law, Myranda Capps Meyer, the Rosewood Sofa situated in my home at 2328 Honeysuckle, Forth Worth, Texas.
Item Four: A Dogwood Picture, a hand-painted Plate (with berry design), and a hand-hooked Rug (gray with black border), and a living room Rug, all of said property being situated in my home at 2328 Honeysuckle, Fort Worth, Texas, I give and bequeath to Marie N. Bills, my Executrix hereinafter named.
Item Five: All money and cash in banks in my name, in savings accounts or checking acounts, and wheresoever the same my be situated, I give and bequeath as follows:
One-third (⅓) thereof to Marjorie Capps Chappel, a niece of my deceased wife, Norma Adele Dentzel, and the daughter and only child and heir-at-law of Sidney M. Capps, deceased.
The balance of said fund shall be retained by my Executrix or Executor hereinafter named and paid out in monthly allotments of Thirty five Dollars ($35.00) each, to my brothers, Harry and Martin Dentzel, and my sister, Madeline Dentzel, for as long as any of the said beneficiaries shall live, or until the balance of said fund shall become exhausted. Upon the death of the last survivor of the said three named beneficiaries, any balance thereof shall be equally divided and paid over to my nephew, Ralph Christian, and to my two nieces, Mary Christian Sullivan and Henrietta Christian, share and share alike.
Item Six: One-half (½) of my undivided interest in a 251-½ acre farm located in Greenville, Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, known as the Margaret Dentzel Estate, I give and devise to Marjorie Capps Chappel, the niece of my deceased wife, and a daughter and only child and heir-at-law of Sidney M. Capps, deceased. The remaining one-half (½) of my undivided interest in and to said property I give and devise unto my nephew, Ralph Christian, and my two nieces, Mary Christian Sullivan and Henrietta Christian, share and share alike.
Item Seven: All of the rest and residue of my property, real, personal and mixed, and wheresoever situated, concerning which I may die seized and possessed, after giving effect to the legacies and bequests hereinabove contained, I give, devise and bequeath unto Marjorie Capps Chappel, as her property in fee simple.
Item Eight: I hereby appoint and constitute Marie N. Bills, as Independent Executrix, of my will and estate and direct that no bond or other security be required of her, and that no other action shall be had in the County Court in relation to the settlement of my estate other than the probating and recording of this my Last Will and Testament, and the return of an inventory, appraisement and list of claims of my said estate as required by law. In the event the said Marie N. Bills should not survive me, or refuse to qualify or be unable to act as Executrix, or if after qualifying should die, refuse or be unable to act as Executrix, then and in such event or events, I hereby appoint and constitute William Chappel as Independent Executor of my will and estate and direct that no bond or other security be required of him and that no other action shall be had in the County Court in relation to the settlement of my estate other than the probating and recording of this, my Last Will and Testament, and the return of an inventory, appraisement and list of claims of my estate as required by law.
This I make and publish as as my Last Will, heretuno signing and subscribing my name, this 22nd day of May, A.D. 1957, in the presence of two witnesses who attest the same at my request.

Before me, the undersigned authority, on this day personally appeared Thomas H. Dentzel, William B. Chappell, and Thos. D. Magoffin, known to me to be the Testator and the witnesses, respectively, whose names are subscribed to the annexed or foregoing instrument, in their respective capacities, and all of said persons being by me duly sworn, the said Thomas H. Dentzel, Testator, declared to me and to the said witnesses in my presence that the said instrument is his Last Will and Testament, and that he had willingly made and executed it as his free act and deed for the purposes therein expressed, and the said witnesses, each on his oath, stated to me, in the presence and hearing of the Testator, that the Testator had declared to them that this insturment is his Last Will and Testament, and that he executed the same as such and wanted each of them to sign it as a witness; and upon their oaths each witness stated further that they did sign the same as witnesses in the presence of the said Testator and at his request; that the said Testator was at the time over nineteen years of age and was of sound mind; that each of said witnesses was then at least fourteen years of age.
