Transcription

In the name of God Amen. I, Lizzie Rothrock, of the town of South Carrollton, Muhlenberg County, state of Kentucky, being of sound mind and memory do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament.

First, I give and bequeath to my grandchild Mary Lizzie Jones my house and lot situated on Main Street in the town of South Carrollton, Ky., also one bed and bed clothing.

In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this October 7, 1878.

The foregoing last will and testament of Lizzie Rothrock was produced to court and proven to be the act and deed of the said Lizzie Rothrock decd. by the oaths of Harvey Grace & V.G. Hampton, the two subscribing witnesses thereto, and the same was ordered to be recorded which is now done accordingly
