Mrs. Maryland Painter Meyer, of Houston, Texas, originally of Brodhead,
recently sent me a copy of the cast from a Brodhead Grade School play that was
put on about 1938. Maryland indicates that she was in the fifth grade at that
time. She had found this item in one of her deceased sister’s belongings.
Perhaps some of you will recognize yourself or your parents that were in this
play. It is sad that many of the children that were in this play have passed
on.
