3-30-1989: Obit from "The Mount Vernon Signal," Rockcastle County,
Kentucky; Mrs. Jane Lawson, 86, of Lamero, died March 25, 1989 at the Rockcastle
Hospital. She was born in Breathitt County Jan. 25, 1903, the daughter of Ab and Easter
Sandlin Allen and was a member of the Morning View Holiness Church. She is survived by
four daughters, Carrie LaFromboise of Lamero, Myrtle Durham, Geraldine Allen and Iverine
Bond, all of Livingston; 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 12
great-great-grandchildren. Services were March 28 at the Livingston Pentecostal Church
with Bros. Rolla Cornelius and Virgil Mullins officiating. Burial was in the River Hill
Cemetery. Dowell and Martin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were
Gary Robinson, Verl Durham, Eddie Lewis, Ernie Lewis, Doug Lewis, and Billy Lewis.
