WHITAKER James "Tommy'', beloved husband for 58 years of Irene Whitaker (nee
Stephens), son of the late Arlie H. and Vertie Whitaker, loving father of Sandra Sue
(Thomas) Weitlauf, loving grandfather of Amy Michelle (Andy) Rosenberg and David Andrew
(Krista) Weitlauf, dear great-grandfather of Jacob Andrew and Zachary Thomas Rosenberg,
dear brother of the late Margie and Forster Whitaker. April 8, 2006. Age 76.
Visitation Tuesday, April 11th from 10:00 A.M. until time of Funeral Service 11:00
A.M. at Nurre-Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd. (on the Grounds of
Rest Haven Memorial Park). Mr. Whitaker was born in Rockcastle County, KY on September
19, 1929 and moved to Lockland in 1950. He was a retired forklift operator for Fox Paper
Co., was a Lockland Volunteer Firefighter, an avid fisherman and boater and enjoyed
summertime "Road Trip'' vacations.
Note: Vertie's maiden name was DOAN.
