Prine, Empson

Central City - Empson Prine, 64, carpenter, died at his home at Maywood, Ill., at 5 a.m. Saturday. He left Central City 28 years ago, and was a member of the First Methodist Church, at Maywood.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Idell Smith Prine, one son, William Prine, both of Maywood; one daughter, Mrs. Alice Seemann, Pomona, Calif.; five grandchildren; two brothers, Gordon Prine, Alton, Ill., and A.E. Prine, Paducah; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Hall, Tucson, Ariz.

The body will be brought to the Tucker Funeral Home here at 8 a.m. Monday.

Services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday at the grave in Rose Hill Memorial Cemetery, by the Rev. W.E. James, pastor of the First Methodist Church, Central City.

Prine, Idell Smith

Paradise, Ky. - Mrs. Idell Smith Prine, 85, died at Manteno, Ill., at 2 a.m. Tuesday.

She was born in Muhlenberg County and was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are one son, William Prine of Maywood, Ill.; one daughter, Mrs. Alice Seemann of Claremont, Calif.; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother, Carlos Smith of Paradise; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Tunstill and Mrs. Rosa Cavanaugh, both of Paradise.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. Robert Bozarth officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City.

The body is at the Tucker Funeral Home where friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday.

Pritchett, unnamed

A one year old child of Louise Pritchett, colored, died in the west end last Sunday, and was buried in the West End Cemetery Monday morning.

Pritchett, Jethro

Pritchett, Jethro, 64, of Greenville died there Saturday at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wesley Chapel AME Zion Church. Burial in West End Cemetery, Greenville. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bibbs Funeral Home, Greenville.

Prowse, Isaac Spencer

White Plains - Isaac Spencer Prowse, 83, of 8306 Greenville-Hopkinsville Road, White Plains, died Monday, Nov. 16, 1992, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. He was born in Muhlenberg County, was a farmer most of his life and raised cattle, grain, timber and burley tobacco. He was a genealogist and was interested in ancient history and artifacts and was also interested in wildlife and carpentry. He was a member of Greenville Presbyterian Church. His family originated in North Carolina.

Survivors include his wife, Elta Marie Prowse, a retired Muhlenberg County schoolteacher; two daughters, Jean Prowse Beard of Littleton, Colo., and Judith Prowse Reid of Falls Church, Va.; two grandsons, William Curtis Gillaspie of Nashville and Christopher Scott Gillaspie of Littleton; and a brother, Lew Allen Prowse of Anaheim, Calif.

Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gary's Funeral Home, Greenville.

Burial in Prowse Cemetery, White Plains. Visitation after 9 a.m. today at the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Prowse Family Cemetery Fund, c/o Gary's Funeral Home, P.O. Box 406, Greenville, Ky. 42345-0406.
