Miss Nannie May Reager died at her home in Bevier on Wednesday night at 9:10 o'clock, following a long illness of tuberculosis.
Miss Reager was born on May 14, 1922, and since a small child had been reared by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. P.O. Willoughby, of Bevier. She was the daughter of Charles Reager and Sylvia Willoughby Reager.
She was a king, gentle and lovable young girl and her acquaintances were her friends.
The funeral will be conducted from the home of her grandparents on Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the services being in charge of Rev. James Johnson, of Cleaton. Interment will be in the Miller cemetery.
Mrs. Laura Hibbs Redfern, 74, of North Third Street, Central City, died at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28 in the Muhlenberg Community Hospital.
Born June 5, 1895 in Hopkins County, she was a retired clerk and a member of the Central City Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Grace Ellen Nalley and Mrs. Ida Stirsman Cotton of Central City; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; half-sister, Mrs. Ida Belle Brown of Madisonville.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Tucker Funeral Home with the Rev. Arnold Harper officiating, assisted by the Rev. Sonny James. Burial was in Fairmount Cemetery.
Drakesboro - Mrs. Minnie Reed, 75, died at 3:15 p.m. Saturday at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville.
She had lived in Drakesboro for more than 50 years and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, where she served as secretary of the Missionary Society.
Surviving are her husband, John Reed; one sons, George Reed of Greenville; three grandchildren; two brothers, James and Richard Rhodes, both of Drakesboro.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel Baptist Church, Drakesboro, conducted by the Rev. Dan Washington. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery here.

Central City - Jasper Lee Render Sr., 95, of Central City died Monday, Nov. 29, 1993, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. He was born in Ohio County, was a retired coal miner and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Central City, Mount Ararat Masonic Lodge No. 74 and Muhlenberg County NAACP. He was the oldest son of Dee and Mary Render.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Mittie K. Render; a son, Jasper Lee Render Jr. of Indianapolis; a granddaughter, Deniece Price of Indianapolis; a great-grandddaughter; a sister, Marie Edison of Chicago; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Central City. Burial in West End Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation after 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. Tucker Funeral Home in Central City is in charge of arrangements.
Central City - Juanita Clements Wilhite Render, 67, of 630 N. First Street, Central City, died Friday, Dec. 9, 1994, at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital. She was born in Golconda, Ill.; retired as a schoolteacher in the Owensboro public school system; and was a Mary Kay cosmetics dealer. She was a member of the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Central City, a member of the Green River Valley District Association, president of the Missionary Convention, a former president of the Music Convention, the dean of Congress and a teacher in the missionary institution. She was a member of the Central City Housing Authority and director of its literacy program, a member of the board of directors of the Duncan Center in Greenville and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Greenville. She was a member and vice president of the Muhlenberg County Women's Democratic Committee, was the first female African American to run for public office in Central City, and was an active member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.
Survivors include her husband, J.L. Render Jr.; eight foster children, Ronald L. Jones, Terry Tony, Wanda W. Gregory, Evelyn W. Chilton, Eleanor W. Parker, Hugh B. Wilhite Jr., Donnie Faye Wilhite and Eunice W. Garner; two stepdaughters, Roxie Ann Peppers and Denise Price, both of Indianapolis; many stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; her stepmother, Rachel Clements of Golconda; a brother, Ezlee Clements Jr. of Newport News, Va.; an aunt; and cousins.
Services are at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Central City. Burial will be in West End Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the church. Order of the Eastern Star services will be held at the church at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Lydia Morehead Render, a well-known colored woman who had made her home in Central City for many years, died rather suddenly at her home on Rail Avenue in the city.
She had not been well for several weeks, but on Wednesday suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and passed away. Her funeral will be conducted probably on Saturday with interment in Greenville, Ky.
Central City - Mittie “K” Render, 104, of Central City died Saturday, June 19, 1999, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. She was born in Butler County, was a retired teacher from Butler, Ohio and Muhlenberg counties and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was a former Muhlenberg Community Hospital Board member and held memberships in Green River Valley District Association, Kentucky Educational Association, General Baptist Association of Kentucky, Eastern Star and National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.
Survivors include a son, J.L. Render Jr. of Central City; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Artie Belle Sweatt of Morgantown.
Services are at 1 p.m. Friday at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Burial will be in West End Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation is after 2 p.m. Thursday at the church. Tucker Funeral Home in Central City is in charge of local arrangements.
Central City, Ky. - Jack Paul Renfro, 64, of Central City died early Sunday at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Born June 9, 1909 in Cook County, Ill., he was employed as a boiler maker. He was a member of the American Legion and a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Josie Spradley of Portsmouth, Va., his wife, Mrs. Mary Smith Renfro, one step-son, Buster Huddeins of Louisville, one daughter, Stella Wiggins of Nashville, Tenn., three step-daughters, Mrs. Herbert Francis and Mrs. Roy Sherrod of Central City, Mrs. Monty Fulkerson of Louisville, one sister, Ruth Shaffer of Portsmouth, Va., and ten grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Tucker Funeral Home with the Rev. W.R. Cook, pastor of First Baptist Church, and the Rev. Ora DeArmond, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
Greenville - Mrs. Arabella Reno, 78, of Greenville, died there Saturday, Feb. 4, 1984, at Maple Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of Wesley Chapel AME Zion Church.
Survivors include a brother, John Isaac Martin of San Diego, Calif.; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Services are at 4 p.m. today at Bibbs Funeral Home, Greenville. Burial in West End Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home.
Harold B. Revlett, age 68, of Route 1, Sacramento died at 8:50 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 1985 at Regional Medical Center, Madisonville. He was a retired civil engineer with the state highway department. Born October 29, 1916 in McLean County, he was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bremen, the Bremen Masonic Lodge and professional engineers.
Services include his wife, Dortha Revlett of Route 1, Sacramento; one son, Gary Revlett of Louisville; two daughters, Diana Hendricks of Madisonville and Mrs. Sandy Lott of Island; four grandchildren; three brothers: Leonard Revlett of Island, Charles Revlett of Rumsey and Hugh G. Revlett of Owensboro; one sister, Mrs. Grace Browning of Calhoun.
Services were held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Dowling Runner, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of a contribution to the American Bible Society or Gideon International. Tucker Memorial Chapel, Sacramento, was in charge of arrangements.
Greenville - Amos Reynolds, 67, died at 8 a.m. Saturday at General Hospital in Louisville.
He was born Oct. 28, 1902 in Muhlenberg County.
Survivors include his mother Mrs. Louise Danvy of Central City; one sister, Mrs. Willie Mae Lee of Central City; one brother Edgar Reynolds of Greenville.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Bibbs Funeral Home in Greenville with the Rev. Thomas G. Watts, pastor of Wesley Chapel AME Zion Church, officiating. Burial will be in West End Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Bibbs Funeral Home after 6 p.m. today.
