Seeking information on William HAMILTON and wife Betsy, married in Loudoun Co Va in 1802, moved to Henry Co Ky
around 1815, had son Napoleon, daughters Harriet, Eliza, Sally, and Betsy. Napoleon married Phoebe WAINSCOTT in
Henry Co, 1825. Harriet married William Hartford in Shelby co, Eliza married James Hackett in Shelby Co Ky. I
believe William HAMILTON practiced some sort of trade or business in New Castle from 1815 to his death around
1831 in Henry Co. This family strongly tied to Thompsons, who owned a lot of land in Henry Co.

John MOSS, son of Nathaniel OREAR MOSS and Jane RAY, was from Montgomery Co.,KY and married Emiline CASSELDINE
probably in Montgomery Co., but they lived and died in Henry Co..Both John and Emiline were born ca. 1830 and
she died 1877. They were probably related to James CASSELDINE who came to Henry Co.,from Montgomery Co., about
1845 or so. I have much info to share on CASSELDINEs but cannot find Emiline's parents. Was her mother Betsey
BECRAFT?

My dad's maternal grandpa Harvey SUTHERLAND was married twice. With his first wife(name unknown to me) he sired
Lucy Stella SUTHERLAND b.10/21/1884 d. 10/13/1964 m. John G. WALLACE 11/11/1902 in New Castle Henry Co. KY.
About 1886 Harvey sired another daughter, no other info. known of her. With his second wife(name unknown to me)
Harvey sired four sons Emmett SUTHERLAND, Fielding SUTHERLAND, Oscar SUTHERLAND, and Pascal SUTHERLAND then
another daughter Beulah SUTHERLAND b. 1906 who married Orville TOWE and lived in Scottsville, Allen Co. KY In
the KY Vital Statistics I found : the death certificate #11924 for Harvey B. SUTHERLAND of 322 S. Maple
Winchester, Clark Co.KY b. 2/11/1864 d. 5/05/1945 son of David SUTHERLAND of Clark Co. KY and Caroline GRIMES of
Fayette Co. KY. I have found two census records for Henry Co. 1860 and 1870 listing David SUTHERLAND and wife
with three children, John W. b.1855, Martha b. 1857 and Nancy W. b. 1860, but no mention of Harvey in either
census. There were several other SUTHERLANDs listed in those same records, but I did not recognize any of them.
I was always given to understand that my grandma Lucy Stella SUTHERLAND WALLACE was born and raised in and
around Lockport, Henry Co. KY Can anyone help me determine if Harvey SUTHERLAND father of my 7 relatives and the
Harvey B. SUTHERLAND who died in Winchester, Clark Co. KY. are the same person. Help will be greatly
appreciated. I will gladly share what I have on succeeding generations.

I am looking for information on Clevis SWIFT who married Sally SHUCK on Dec. 23, 1820 in Henry County. My great
great grandfather was Cleavurs SWIFT who was born in Kentucky on Dec.27, 1814. Cleavurs moved to Johnson County,
IN and married Sarah Ann TAPP in 1833. I wonder if Clevis SWIFT could be the father of Cleavurs. If this were
the case, Clevis' marriage to Sally SHUCK was a second marriage. I believe that Clevis SWIFT may have been one
of 3 brothers. The other 2 were John SWIFT, who lived in Oldham County, KY, and Thomas SWIFT, who lived in
Shelby County, KY. I would appreciate any information on Clevis (and brothers?).
