Byers, Anderson

Central City, Ky. - Anderson Byers, 64, native of Central City, died at his home in Louisville at 4 a.m. Thursday.

The body was taken to the Tucker Funeral home, Central City, where services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial was in Fairmount cemetery. The Masonic lodge No. 673 had charge of the services.

Byers, Darrell Edward

Bremen - Darrell Edward Byers, 57, of Bremen died Friday, June 20, 1997, at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. He was born in Muhlenberg County, was a retired farmer and a member of Powers Chapel General Baptist church in Bremen.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Faye “Cessna” Byers of Bremen; a son, Mark Byers of Belton; a daughter, Susan Woodall of Central City; a stepson, Mark Vincent of Bremen; a stepdaughter, Lisa Sigers of Central City; five grandchildren; his parents, Guy and Ailene Byers of Belton; a brother, Mike Byers of Drakesboro; and a sister, Sherry Tipton of Beechmont.

Services are at 3 p.m. Monday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery in Belton. Visitation is after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Byers, Perry

Drakesboro, Ky. - Perry Byers, 67, a retired miner, died in the Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville early today following a short illness. He was a member of the Cleaton Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ara Byers, Drakesboro; one son, Guy Byers, Cleaton; three daughters, Mrs. Cecil Shannon, Hopkinsville, Mrs. Marcus Lindsey, Gary, Ind., and Mrs. Jack Baggett, Bremen; his mother, Mrs. Dora Bryant, Owensboro, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Bobbitt, Evansville, Mrs. Kate Jones, and Mrs. Lee Parish, both of Indianapolis, Ind., and a half brother, Woodrow Bryant, Centertown.

The body is at the Parker-Washburne-Pannell Funeral Home here.

Byers, Ruby Carol

Belton, Ky. - Mrs. Ruby Carol Byers, 30, of Belton, died early, Saturday at Hopkins County Hospital, Madisonville. Born April 8, 1943 in Muhlenberg County, she was a member of Cleaton Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husbband, Darrell Byers; one son, Mark Byers, and one daughter, Susan Byers, both at home; parents, Mr. anrd Mrs. Raymond Mcdonald, Greenville; two brothers, Charles and Johnny McDonald, both of Greenville, and two sisters, Mrs. Shirley Fortner, Central City, and Mrs. Elaine Haley, Graham.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Tucker Funeral Home, Central City, with the Rev. R. D. Mize officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. today.
