Bud Cisney, 77, Taken By Death
Life-Long Resident of Muhlenberg Died at 8:30 o'clock this Morning
Bud Cisney, 77 years old, died at 8:30 o'clock this morning, Thursday, at the home of his niece, Mrs. Robert Mitchell on Reservoir Avenue, after several weeks illness.
Mr. Cisney was born at Powderly. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Maggie Calvert of Island, and a niece, Mrs. Robert Mitchell, and a host of other relatives.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
Greenville - Mrs. Eudora Cisney, 85, died at 2:30 a.m. Monday in the Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital following a long illness. She was born May 2, 1884 in Muhlenberg County and was a member of the Rosewood United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Yewell, Owensboro; Mrs. Ruth Gregory, Evansville, Ind.; Mrs. Blanche Vincent, Route 2, Greenville; a son, J. M. Cisney of Walkerton, Ind.; 31 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Byrdie Craig of Louisville; two brothers, Robert and Louis Jenkins, both of Route 2, Greenville.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the Gary Funeral Home, conducted by Eugene Gipe of Jehovah's Witness Bible Tract Society. Burial will be in Shutt cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 1:30 p.m. today.
Rumsey - Floyd Cissna, 31, of Route 1, Rumsey, died Tuesday. Born in McLean County, he was employed by River Queen Coal Mines Muhlenberg County.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Katheryn Cissna; a son, Larry Cissna, and a daughter, Kathy Cissna, both at home; his mother, Mrs. Marie Cissna, Calhoun; two brothers, Henry Cissna, Calhoun, and George Cissna, Sacramento, and two sisters, Mrs. Fern Lee, Naples, Fla., and Mrs. Anette Dossett, Sacramento.
Services 11 a.m. Friday at Muster Funeral Home, Calhoun, with the Rev. John Lovelace, pastor of Poplar Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial in Poplar Grove Cemetery, McLean County. Friends may call at the funeral home.
