Dillingham, Orval Cliff

Central City, Ky. - Orval Cliff Dillingham, 59, was found dead at his home in Clay, Ky., Monday night. A retired miner, he was a member of the White Plains Presbyterian Church.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ethel Dillingham; three sons, Kenneth Dillingham, Central City, Thomas Dillingham, Corpus Christi, Texas, and Wallace Dillingham, Springfield, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Ed Berry, Wayne, Mich.; six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Tucker Funeral Home, the Rev. L. O. Price of Bowling Green officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Central City.

The body was taken to the Tucker Funeral Home.

Dillingham, Orval Kenneth

O.K. Dillingham Dies Suddenly at Central City

Central City, Ky. - Orval Kenneth (O. K.) Dillingham, 44, the Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Co.'s local plant service foreman, died suddenly of an apparent heart attack at 2:45 a.m. Sunday at his home at Route 2, Central City.

Dillingham had been an employe of Southern Bell for 26 years. He was born in Muhlenberg County in January, 1919, and was a member of the Nelson Creek Baptist Church, a veteran of World War II and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

He was instrumental in the present construction of the telephone company's conversion to the dial system which will go into effect in Muhlenberg County soon.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Leona Dillingham, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Ann Hickman of Franklin, Ky.; two sons, Gene Dillingham of Louisville, Jimmy Dillingham at home; his mother, Mrs. Ethel Hearin of Evansville, Ind.; two brothers, Thomas Dillingham of Corpus Christi, Tex., and Wallace Dillingham of Springfield, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with the Rev. W. R. Cook, pastor of First Baptist Church here officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The body is at the funeral home.
