Plyler, C.D.

Central City, Ky. - C.D. Plyler, 46, of 2823 N. Claybourn Ave., Chicago, Ill., died late Thursday at Belmont Hospital, Chicago. He was a member of Mercer Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Magaline Plyler, Chicago; three daughters, Shelia, Karen, and Jeanette Plyler, all at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Coil Nelson Plyler; one brother, James Plyler, Birmingham, Ala.; five sisters, Mrs. Nora Mae Dukes, Powderly, Ky., Mrs. Flowelle Gregory, Beechmont, Ky., Mrs. Lucille Cornell, Central City, Ky., Mrs. Margie Johnson, Evansville, Ind., and Mrs. Mary Magalaine, Bremen, Ky.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Tucker Funeral Home with the Rev. Eugene Cathy officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Central City. Friends may call at the funeral home.

Plyler, Nannie Elizabeth

Central City - Mrs. Nannie Elizabeth Plyler, 84, of Route 2, Central City, died Friday, Aug. 1, 1980, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital, Greenville. She was born in Muhlenberg County and was a member of Mercer Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, J. D. Plyler of Alabama; five daughters, Mrs. Nora Mae Dukes of Powderly, Mrs. Flo Ella Gregory of Beechmont, and Mrs. Lucille Cornell, Mrs. Margie Jarvis and Mrs. Mary Roberts, all of Central City; 24 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Hershell Stewart of Bremen and Willie Stewart of Central City.

Services are at 3 p.m. Sunday at Tucker Funeral Home, Central City. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Central City. Visitation at the funeral home.
