Ann Gipson wrote a weekly column about Earlington for the local newspaper for several years. In this capacity untold numbers of people sent her photos and stories and she spent much time researching the stories she heard, talking directly with the people involved, or with friends and relatives that could either confirm what she heard or impart new information on the subject at hand.
Ann recently retired as correspondent for Earlington, but writing must be in her blood because she is now sharing with us some of her old columns, writing new things for us, and sharing many of the photos and stories she has collected over the years. Thank you Ann -- and a big thank you to all of the people who have so graciously given you the history of the town, people and county and allowed you to share it with others!
